Sustainable Development Training for Women-Led Businesses in the Era of Green Transformation

The Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) under VCCI, in collaboration with experts from Star Consulting, is organizing a specialized training program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) owned by women. The program focuses on foundational knowledge, practical application, and the ability to implement immediately after the course. Sessions are designed to be dynamic, highly practical, and rich in interaction.


The advanced session (Day 2) is co-organized by VWEC and Star Consulting, with Star Consulting experts delivering and facilitating the content.

  • Day 1 – Basic Sustainable Development (Free of charge)Time: 8:00–16:30, Wednesday, 27 August 2025This session is sponsored by the project “EmPower: Promoting Women’s Economic Empowerment through Green Transformation.”

  • Day 2 – Advanced Sustainable Development (Fee-based)Time: 8:00–11:30, Thursday, 28 August 2025Co-organized by VWEC and Star Consulting.

  • Format: In-person training.

Target Audience

Small and medium-sized enterprises owned by women, ready to embark on the journey toward sustainable transformation, and adapt to emerging market trends and new policies.


Objectives & Learning Outcomes

Day 1 – Basic (Free)

  • Gain an overview of the green transformation and the importance of ESG for businesses.

  • Identify simple, cost-effective initial steps to enhance competitiveness and gradually progress toward a green transformation.

Day 2 – Advanced (Fee-based)

  • Develop a sustainable action plan tailored to the company’s internal capacity.

  • Mobilize and optimize resources (e.g., green loans, digital platforms, consultancy).

  • Assess internal capacity, build an internal green action system; receive guidance on creating a Green Competency Framework for the organization and engage in group exercises.
