Mai Huyen An is a consultant and project manager with extensive hands-on experience in education and organizational capability development, with a particular focus on risk management, safety culture building, and optimizing operational efficiency for organizations in the aviation industry. Over the past two years, she has been deeply involved in consulting, designing, and implementing large-scale programs for various entities within the Vietnam Airlines ecosystem as well as other aviation businesses in Vietnam.
In her role as the primary project manager and key coordinator for long-term risk management capacity-building initiatives for Vietnam Airlines Group, she oversees the end-to-end process of designing and delivering training programs on risk management and operational safety, implementing safety surveys for pilots, cabin crew, and ground staff, and developing and executing frameworks to assess the maturity of safety culture and the level of digital transformation in safety management. Through these projects, she has supported organizations in strengthening their risk management systems, reinforcing a robust safety culture, and enhancing overall operational performance.
Beyond Vietnam Airlines, Mai Huyen An has collaborated with other key players in the sector such as SKYPEC, VALC, Pacific Airlines, Bamboo Airways, and VASCO in specialized training and advisory projects on risk management, safety culture, frontline leadership capability, and operational process improvement. In parallel, she has designed and organized industry-focused study tours in Singapore and China, connecting businesses with advanced operating models and enabling meaningful organizational learning, benchmarking, and capability development that is closely aligned with the practical needs of each client.
In addition to her aviation work, Ms. Mai An has a solid background in K–12 education. She previously served as an academic manager and English training summer camp program manager, where she was responsible for curriculum design, teaching coordination, and training quality assurance for school-age learners. This experience has provided a strong foundation for her current role at Star Consulting, where she leads career guidance and skills development projects for students, working closely with schools, parents, and learners to build comprehensive, practical, and sustainable development pathways.
